Monday, December 10, 2001 05:18 AM Interruption of measurements from mid-November The Division for Methodology and Quality Control of Observations, Hungarian Meteorological Service moved to a brand new building this spring, from our old building on the roof of which our radiometers were placed. A new 5 m high measuring tower was built for the radiometers, whose raising was completed in November (our old building was pulled down). The president of the Met. Service didn't permit to place the controlling computers to the tower so they are put in another building far (about 150 m) from the tower that means exchanging the way of communication from RS232 to another one with converters. We had to bring the instruments down from the old roof on 15 Nov, and start to install them to the new platform. Unfortunately the communication does not want to work between the computer and the Brewer so far. We are in contact with Sci-Tec and it seems that at long last we will succeed in solving the problem, but ozone data for second half of November are missing. Toth Zoltan MMO [toth.z@met.hu]
